i need to test the resistance of a resistor that works with my turbo kit. i had to cut the wire that goes to the vtec solenoid so it now goes to my piggyback ecu. where the it used to join to the ecu plug i had to put a resistor in. it may be faulty so i need to messure its resistance...

does anybody have a pic of the d16y8 vtec solenoid/oil pressure switch.

since installing my edelbrock kit if i put my foot to the floor, or go over 4k rpm(except 1st gear), it throws a CEL and goes limp, and if i keep driving it starts to backfire, if i then stop switch car off, and start it again CEL goes off, drives fine, until i do above, it has a strong smell of...

edelbrock kit arrived last week from US, so had to fit it this week. plus a few older pics. still got a long way to go tho.. ignore the coolant on the floor :P comments welcome

i got an Edelbrock kit today, opened the box and the intercooler mess is slighty dented in, its on the rear side of it. do you think it would be ok? problem being i had a shop import this from us to uk, so returning it could be a b***h.
