    Again that's not going to be the issue my friend. Even with an entire cylinder down it would still run - just had a b16a2 in here with #3 out and it still ran fine, heh good old Honda. Yes, you shouldn't start a motor without oil but it does start, and will run for a good hour before it blows...

    Checking the thermostat is an annoyance but may be the best thing to do, throw it in a boiling pot of water - cook some lobtsters while you're at it ;)

    Sounds like a great project but I'm almost positive it's nothing mechanical and it's going to be elctrical - keep up the search and you'll figure it out.

    I'm confused, maybe it's the pictures - you sprayed your interior black as well right? Also, I'd definetly run a search for where it's acceptable to relocate the battery, don't want to make any decisions that will come back to haunt you later on. Good work.

    You can make a boost controller for 3 - 5.00 at a local hardware store, but let's be honest we like all the cool gadgets in our rides. My suggestion concurrs with io_303.

    Motor's don't need oil to start, it's not the oil. I would say it's the ECU or ECU wiring as well, that's the best bet given the information.

    Well I'm sure it does - it's not as if there's any real magical workings to a timer anyhow. Now if they do use falty materials and they fail that would be dissapointing. I'm sure Apex-i receives them everyday in the mail for repairs and they refuse warranty, tough break for the unknowing customers.

    That is pretty tough on Apex-i and I feel bad for them. On the other hand the way they try to say that there's any real danger in counter-fit turbo timers is quite funny, they even list electrical fire ;) heh. A turbo timer is a turbo timer, it's not real rocket science ya know? Oh well...

    supercharged gsr

    We've dyno'd a couple supercharged GS-R's here at the shop, they usually put down approximately 185 - 195 horsepower with intake, header and exhaust. That was with the 6lb. pulley. You can expect over 200 horsepower with more boost I'm sure.
