My bdest friend got a civic project car for the summer. has everything but a engine and tranny. its a 96 civic not sure which model. but asked me if a B20b longblock would fit and i have no idea. so toldem id post and see what you guys say. thanks abunch.

check craigs list, best place to get a good used engine. can find another d-series or b-series for least 250-600ish. or could buy a hooptie and pull the engine out then junk the car, part it out or jus use it as a parts car for urself. jus an idea

Jus blew a rod bearing in my D16y and engine shopping, found a F22B1 Vtec Engine for cheap and in good condition. what changes would i need ta make for it ta fit in my 96 Civic Ex Coupe? jus a new transmisson and engine mounts?

check the lil rubber seals around the door see if theres any cuts or cracks. dont remmeber if ur model has a sunroof or not, but check tt also if u do.

Suspention is a good way to start, get sum springs and shocks to drop it. it be a start. personally i have a 96 ex, i got suspetion and short ram intake for my 1st mods. just got 16" Raixx rims and tires, and DNX exhaust.keep it simple if ya dont plan on spendin crazy $
