i would assume since you have a 3rd gear grind... a third gear syncro replacement is in need, putting in different fluid sounds a little bit of a quick ghetto fix

im thinkin atleast pullin the fans and radiator out, if that doesnt work then you might have to detatch a few mounts (side mounts/subframe) and lower the engine down a little then slip the header out, at that point if you STILL cant get it id say remove the trans maybe before the whole motor.

correct me if im wrong but those rims look like they are 16's? dont get me wrong i love those rims on that car but i think our em1's look much better on 15's

ardex makes some awesome wax its a paste and leaves no dust at all and beads water for longer than any other wax i have used i believe its called gold suprme, it is the professional stuff and you would either have to get it off the truck or at their store. clay bar is good s**t though...

easiest thing to do is jack up the one side in the rear spin the wheel and see if you can hear it. if it helps taking off the brake pads will take away a possibility of them being the problem but it does sound like a bearning noise
