    Correct Eibach springs?

Your guess would probably be good as anyone elses. With no clear identification or markings on them, they could be Eibach or they could be no name ebay garbage. Which I'd put my money on that it's something cheap and worthless.. Just because someone has a couple of track cars in their garage...

Picked up a new car... because race car

I feel like it's been ages since I've updated but it's only been a couple weeks.. So much has happened the past couple weeks it all seems like a blur. I got the new sets of NRG lut nuts The old ones were jacked up. A couple years of swapping wheels and removing to work on the car REALLY...

Picked up a new car... because race car

Thanks man! I ordered 2 new sets of lug nuts and the parts to custom make my own plastic 3" cold air intake earlier this week. The intake stuff came in today but Summit Racing sent 3.5" tubing not 3". Called them up, mailed the tubing back to them and they will be sending me the 3" tubing...

    Change...EM1 content

It's a little hard to tell but I feel like I can hear you coasting A LOT in the videos posted. Car also looks a little too composed throughout the entire run, which seems to go in hand with the coasting. Esp for being on r-comps. Push harder, go faster! lol Car looks good though.

Picked up a new car... because race car

Had a fun time at our first local SCCA event yesterday. It was just a practice event, no points. First time getting my car on a longer, faster course. The car felt great, very balanced but my driving SUCKED. I way over drove the course my first 3 runs on a course that really punished you if you...

    Replace rear struts/coil overs?

Like mentioned, it would really help to know what you have. Need to know what coilovers you have, what spring rates and what shocks. It's not a good idea to just throw whatever shock on there, you could even buy the wrong shocks for the coilovers you have any they may not fit.

Yeah, Si just has different spring rates, larger front swaybar and a rear swaybar. Front shock forks and rear lca's are the same.

Yup, but oh so grippy :suprise: Just don't go crazy driving in the rain, ESP when they get lower than like half tread life. Things get a little sketchy at that point, esp on the highway lol

With fairly normal driving I probably wouldn't expect much more than 25k miles, if that, out of them.. So if you beat on them a good bit, expect a lot less.

From a performance aspect, the Z2's will blow away the s.Drives. But they are a good bit more $ and won't last as long. TireRack has a special on the Z2's so I'd jump on those now over the s.Drives in a heart beat.

    Effect Rims?

I've never heard of them. If you're going to go with cheaper knock off wheels, at least go with a company that's fairly well know Rota, Drag, Nippon Racing, etc..

    Offset question

Determining offset has a lot to do with the wheel width. +35 offset on a 6.5" wide wheel is not the same as a + 35 offset on a 7" wheel. So what size wheels are you talking about with a +20 offset?

    96romaCX CIVIC hatchback BUILD THREAD

Keep in mind that the car you posted probably has at least 205, maybe 225, r comps which in those sizes tend to be a bit wider than what a regular summer tire, like the sdrives, would be in the same size. R comps have very stiff and meaty sidewalls sometimes resulting in being slightly wider...

I'd do +30 unless, like you said, you want to pull the fenders out rather than just rolling them a good bit.

The aluminum radio plate SHOULD be fine, the hole just needs to be covered when the radio is removed. So I'm sure it would be fine. The only reason I got the OEM one was because it just looks more legit. If I win an event, I don't want people coming over and sticking their nose all over my car...

CAI or Short ram intake !

They do something... Help make noise lol. An aftermarket intake helps, but for the cost are they worth it? Not really, esp on an otherwise stock motor. Between the 2, CAI is a little better for power since it's bringing in cold air but if you were to compare the 2 directly just driving down...

Is it actually leaking brake fluid anywhere? If air is getting in, it should be leaking. If there is air in the system but it's not leaking, the lines might be ok and there just might be a bunch of air stuck somewhere in the system. Did you replace the master cylinder? If so, did you bench bleed...
