Can't go in any gear when cold

Bleeding on a Civic is usually the problem. Most Civics have a clutch line that goes uphill on the firewall and if you only bleed it a little the air bubble will just travel back to there when you stop. You have to bleed it a lot to get all the air out.

Any threads on how to fill in the holes from side moldings.

If you're talking about the impression left from the moldings, here's what I did. http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/jcquack/BODY%20AND%20PAINT/98CIVIC/PATCH/ I don't use rivets anymore, I use panel adhesive made for car bodies, that works much better.

    d16y8 trans questions

There's a big difference in motor oil and trans oil. Motors pump their oil and don't need the anti-foaming properties of an oil like a transmission does, just like a lawn mower, the trans slings the oil and regular motor oils foam up, giving a lot less lubrication. Whatever you get, make...

Cant remove bolt holdin the harmonicbalancer

It takes a special tool to hold the pulley and a I have to use a 4' long cheater bar to break them loose. Even the best air wrench wouldn't budge mine. I use a 3/4" drive breaker bar with a pipe on it. the pulley holding tool needs to rest on something to keep it from turning. I use a milk...

    Gas tank leak

You'll have to identify where the leak is to answer that question. There are connections on top the tank, if it's there it probably can be fixed easily, but you'll have to pull the tank. If it's the tank, then you'll probably have to replace it, but that's rare.

    Side Moldings

They sell it at most auto stores like Autozone. It's the tape coverd with red peel off outer layer. I've even seen it at Wall-mart. Auto paint supply stores have it in different widths and longer lengths.

    POLYURETHANE FRONT LIP type R

I paint a lot of bumpers and treat them all the same. If it's non-painted they need to be 1st washed, & scrubbed with a scuff pad. Then it's important to spray a couple of coats of adhesion promoter. I do that for any plastic. Then epoxy primer, one that's flexible. epoxy greatly reduces...

    Hood re-paint

200 is a real good price. I'd charge a little more to make it right. Most colors won't match perfectly, I usually have to blend into the fenders to make it undetectable.

How much does a paint job cost (average)

I just finished a Corvette for a friend. Materials was $600 useing non-brand paint. Took me 225 hours to change color and do it right. I would normally charge $6000 for a job like that and I was told that I was way to cheap. But that was a straight show car paint job.
