If you don't have a air bubble I can almost guarantee this is your culprit. I don't even reuse my ARPs even though you supposedly can use them up to three times. What's an extra 120 bucks vs. all that work or labor costs.

How much is the climate control going for?

It's just a well designed carbine by a well known manufacturer. Very, very accurate and reliable as well as relatively inexpensive.

Gun by itself can be had for around $750. Rail system is only like $50, Barrel Shroud is $125, and I don't know how much the scope is. Great carbine for the money.

I'm sure the report will be positive. Shot one myself, and I was very impressed with the grouping.

Sounds like your battery might have gone dead because the alternator wasn't charging it.

Not worth your time or money. You may gain 1/2 a hp. The only reason for adjustable cam gears is if you actually need to adjust valve timing to benefit your build.
