Ok, so turn of events. Got a hold of a C39v2, 50 rounds in and the rear trunnion developed a crack.. so got rid of it at a loss and then started building an AR. PSA lower PSA 16" chrome lined upper 5.56 chamber ( yes there is a difference) full auto, chrome lined bcg ready to try it out...

    Installing new clutch!

Easiest thing that trips up first timers... Take out both axles and the intermediate shaft or else it will be almost impossible to get back in on your own and make sure you have 2 jacks, one for the motor and another for the trans raising and lowering it. Other than that, remove the stuff you...

Bailed on the AR build idea... looking at AKs now, honestly wouldn't have until I got to shoot one. Nice 92fsc!

I'm basing it off of a 2015 purchase of both. But this is the timeless shotgun debate. They are both great, but when it comes to features I personally prefer the 500 series.

Hear you on that. I would like a threaded barrel option like the FN Tactical. Get jealous of the glock guys who can buy 3 mags for the price of 1 mag in FN, HK, Walther, etc... Side note, if any of you guys can pick up a mossberg 500 series, do it, it's a cockroach- you can't kill it and the...

Wish i could man, have too much invested here. Maybe once the kids are off on their own I'll swing south but the north east in general is pretty shitty for 2A. Going out saturday to sight in the optic on the 12ga and taking my hunter course etc.. in March so white tail and pheasant upcoming...

Jealous- I live in a very restrictive state and obtaining a CCWP is almost a non-option and forget about open carry. Even though I did work for a federal munitions test facility and carried during employment, my application was still denied. Just want a simple 3 gun set.. pistol, shotgun, mag...

    91 civic hatchback?first step?

So wait.. you refuted the statement by supporting it? If you can't depend on it to run for the purpose you built it for and cheap parts break regularly than the statement stands. I have heard the stories of ebay chargers lasting thousands of miles, but very rarely. More times than not you'll...

    Nitrous B18B1 setup

A dry kit without extensive tuning and additional engine mods will result in a catastrophic failure. If you are just entering into nitrous, start with a manufacturer wet kit and controller and the more you learn and get comfortable start to branch out.

Ok, let's revitalize this thread: Going for pheasant in Nov in SD and deer in late Nov and have owed pistols for a while. FNH FNS-9 Mossberg 500 28" dual bead barrel (replaceable chokes) and 24" cantilever rifled barrel with 2.5x24 optic. And the wife's first time behind the trigger for kicks...

    91 civic hatchback?first step?

Welcome! Depending on what you're starting with, will determine where you go from here; coupled with your goals. Cheap, Fast, Reliable.. you can only pick 2, the 3rd is what it will not be.

    Nitrous B18B1 setup

A good wet kit with WOT switch, grab an ecu ( either chipped or a standalone) I went with the S300 and with a 50-75 wet and a tune, you won't need bigger injectors. Nitrous is fun and cheap, but it can bite you really hard if you get cocky with it or change jets without a tune.

    My clutch is dead

Clutch replacement is a driveway job on these cars. Allocate a weekend and you should be ok. Just have 2 jacks on hand, it makes it much easier to raise and lower the transmission and motor independently.

New coilovers now car is bouncy, help!

If tire pressure is being brought in the equation for ride quality on a daily driver the suspension needs to be reconsidered. Stock tire size of 195/55/15 depending on brand can vary from 55 psi all the way down to 40 psi max pressure. If the max is higher, it's typically due to a softer side...

    best daily racer

Stance + 300whp dream = going nowhere, ruining tires. The car will not be functional.. you won't be able to use any of the power you worked for due to the stance and the look you want is not compatible with any kind of power delivery to the wheels when only 15% of the usable grip is on the...

    D17 Upgrade Advice

With every build you need a goal. Your goal will determine what you do to achieve it. Throwing parts at a motor that honestly isn't wildly popular or well supported in the aftermarket will be both expensive and disappointing. What are you looking for as far as output? 200whp, 250, 300? more...
