My Pitman worked for the left side joint, but for some reason it can't grip itself well enough to use it correctly on the right side. Any tips?

The pitman isn't working, the fork isn't working...what to do?

Nice. I just got back and had bought one exactly like that. Lucky for me, I live extremely close to numerous autoparts so it's not bad to have to find parts or tools as long as it's still early. EDIT: This is one touch joint, not even the fork will work.

Thanks. Quick trip to the auto parts store then to buy two of those and some sort of fork to get the other damn ball joint out. I'm pretty pissed with how everything's going. Oh well.

If you want it identical to those then you won't find them. They're made so you can use your OEM signal lights so if you want those flashlights on the side you won't get em. I've seen some for EK/EJ that do bring those 2 little flashlights over the headlights. Check em out.

I was changing my ball joints, and upon completing one side, I can't get the nut to screw back on the little joint the connect to the steering. The joint looks really beat up too, and when I try to tighten the nut it too spins with the nut. Is this broken and if it is, how hard is it to...

Wow, this wold've worked before I banged it, but I banged it without the hex and now it's all deformed so it wouldn't fit back in. .I'll keep this in mind for the next one I do. Thanks for the suggstion.

I did remove the nut off, I have an impact wrench for stubborn nuts. The thins is the little screw the pops out off the ball joint into the little socket that connect it to the car...that won't come out.

I'm trying to change my lower ball joints and the lower ball joint won't loosen itself off the bar that holds it (under the axle, I think). Anyone have any tips for this? I already tried banging it with a hammer and no luck.

I just encountered a problem changing the mounts. the left front motor mount has a bolt with a nut, and on the other side it bolts into the motor block. After trying to remove the nut with the impact wrench, the whole bolt cam out and now it's impossible to take the nut out. Any help with this?

My car has some horrible kicks on shifts and I'm pretty sure I have to replace the engine mounts. While looking into it, I saw that you can buy the inserts by themselves without changing the mount completely. How do I know if all I have are bad inserts or if the mount is all add?

It already has beat up side skirts and a beat up rear bumper, and the fenders and front bumper are not painted. I did have my car lowered but there's too many pot holes here in PR for it, so I put it back up and clearance looks good with stock springs and KYB struts.
