Alright, I will be sticking with a sealed one any to start since it takes up less space too. I looked it up and here is what I will have to build for my sub maybe minus the black carpet:
5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard) with black carpet covering •internal volume: 0.76 cubic feet...
i think i will try it without new clips first. and im not gonna be pounding it all the time. i have one 10" sub coming in soon. what are your suggestions for sub boxes?
Perfect, sucks how some pics are missing but I should be able to work it out anyway. This is getting done tomorrow, hopefully I can tear it up smoothly.
Alright Thanks. Should be mostly the same steps for my sedan. Luckily I dont have to remove that side panel cause there isnt one the sedan. Now all I need is the stuff to get here.
Hopefully your right. Yea I saw those threads already but couldn't find a good rear speaker one. I just need to get my rear speakers shipped now and I'm ready to start pullin panels and useless stock sound equipment.
I was thinking the same thing. I must have last opened the trunk like 2 months ago. But I hope it will be as easy as not removing anything. That would work out well for me.
Works now :) Well I thought the same thing until I looked it up on crutchfield and they said it doesn't fit. I called up and the person was telling me they couldn't say what was wrong with it but they finally told me it was the depth of it that was the problem. People have recommended trunk...
So heres the deal. I need to order some rear speakers to complete my system. I want to get these ones below but they have too much depth and will hit the torque bar so I have to put in trunk shocks so I can install them. I was wondering if you know of any other good speakers that don't hit the...
wow i thought those were fiction. thank god i sold my old civic, fortunately though i dont think very many people up here in canada have those keys. well i havent heard of it around here anyway.
Ok, and then put in the jack stands for the front once its jacked up. By OEM you mean your using the jack stand from your trunk? Seems like a pretty good idea actually if you dont have access to a newer one.
I'm dropping mine as well. 1.5" should be decent. How do you do your oil changes with the car that low though? I just want that sick drop look as soon as possible, I should probably save up for the full coil over though like you guys are saying.
