Neither did I! I've never heard of it. I've been meaning to buy long Johns for a while, but I don't even own a pair. I've worn Pajama pants under my pants at work a few times.

I wore t-shirt, hoodie and a winter jacket. As for the car, it didn't warm up. It didn't even make it up to temp while I was on the highway. At Red lights I watched the engine temp go down to almost nothing. It sucks.
