Hi guys! New to the forum here

Si i just bought this civic ES 1.8 with just over 100k mileage, very well maintained every mile on file every MOT and service history is like a complete family tree ha!

Just wanted to know other than the ABS issue ive detected, is there anything i should check or get replaced thats worthwhile doing? Just want to keep car running for a good few years i dont drive like an idiot or anything!

Note - any tips on this car would be great its my first civic and im in love

Regards, Dan

Has it had the engine block extended warranty work done? If not that motor is a ticking time bomb and will fail. Your a year over the 10 year from original date of purchase and unlimited mileage warranty extension by Honda of America. My wife's 06 ex coupe failed at 113,000 miles and Honda picked up the tab for $4500 to replace the cracked block. 06 also has issues of uneven rear tire wear and faulty rear hub assemblys

Your abs issue could be bad wheel bearings the abs sensor is on the magnetic side of the race on the bearings and excessive wear can throw the abs light code
