which one of these two cars will take the win if they were to race stock to stock???

On a race track: Si.
Either way, it's definitely a driver's race.

Going-West said:Remember the hp ratings on the rsx-s were released before the new ratings came out, which are more restrictive. Under the same ratings they both put out amount the same amount of power.
You did great up till this. A shorter wheelbase will create a more flickable car. Long wheelbase = stable short wheelbase = unstable. That's why longer vehicles are better in the snow.DuH-ReL said:-Longer wheelbase (Si vs RSX in inches: 104.3 vs 101.2)
Does anybody else agree with me or am I wrong?
the price of that RSX is rediculous. You can buy them brand new for less than that.IGotASlowCivic said:Hey guys. just so i Idndt have to make a new thread.
whats your oppinion on this vs setup!
used 06 RSX TYPE S - 2000miles - out the door - $26973
or
new 06 civic si - out the door - $25213
are you drunk??? i just had to ask that , those small difference in #'s are NOTHING, its basically this THE BETTER DRIVER WILL WIN plain out, 1 ft lb of torque won't make a difference nor will 4 smeasly lil horses, and if i'm not mistaken wasn't the si puttin out better WHP #'s?? & oh yea leather interior SUCKS ASS!!DuH-ReL said:2006 Acura RSX Type-S
3.38 X 3.38 (bore x stroke)
201@7800 (hp @ RPM)
140@7000 (tq @ RPM)
2840 lbs (curb weight)
2006 Honda Civic Si
3.39 X 3.39 (bore x stroke)
197@7800(hp @ RPM)
139@6100 (tq @ RPM)
2877 lbs (curb weight)
Same final drive ratios (4.77).
Why the RSX Type-S would take the drag strip:
-Less weight
-More torque
-More horsepower
Why the Civic Si would take the race track:
-Limited Slip Differential
-Better turning diameter (35.6 for the Si, 38.1 for the RSX)
-Wider tracks (Si vs RSX in inches: 59.0 vs 58.5 front and 60.1 vs 58.5 rear)
-Longer wheelbase (Si vs RSX in inches: 104.3 vs 101.2)
