'09 Coupe DX Aux. Install

Hi,
Just picked up an '09 DX Coupe for my daughter. 12V power supply just ahead of the shifter & looking to install an Aux. jack for her. Want to keep it OEM. Thinking I can source local parts but would like some input on fit.
Pretty sure I can replace the trim/garnish piece that currently holds the 12V outlet with a similar piece that includes a factory Aux. jack.
Couple questions:

Aux. harness in the dash already, maybe taped up out of the way ?

Model year range for the dash piece in an '09 ?

Hi Steve,

I am sorry that nobody replied to this thread. I have the same question about installing an Aux for the same year and model as you. Were you able to find the answers you needed elsewhere? Any info you can share would be appreciated. I have found it difficult because the Canadian DX used a different stereo than the American version. I am unsure whether or not there is an AUX port on the back or whether I need to spend the money on an adapter that hooks to a CD changer port.

1) OP hasn't been on the forum in 5 months.

2) Easiest way to tell if it has an AUX port on the back.....pull the radio and look.
