The 7 little covers in the cowl are usually missing or brittle. Experimented with 8mm black push pins/ xmas trees and milled the edges down to 16.5mm. And snapped them in the holes. Last picture

The above is after cleaning and scotch bright the surface.
After, is 1 can = 3 coats of rustoleum truck bed liner.
I have used this before on abuse areas with great success. Lite coats!!!

Any pics of the entire car?
How did you get those 90-91 Si seats mounted in there?
Did the car not have the OG '89 seats in it?

The "seat" that came with the car was a kevlar bride seat. The most uncomfortable thing I ever sat in, lol.
Made adapter with 1"× 3/16" flat stock. Rear is from my 93 eg hatch it's not a perfect fit but does the job and matches the fronts. The fronts are a set I've had for years. Just bought them at the time because they are in great shape for the age of em.
The motor went a month after I bought it.
And that's the eg that donated the rear seat.

This is something I'd love to do with the 89 EF. Take to car shows and drive it on weekends!
