Does your Civic have any of the CEL codes listed below?
If your Civic has one or more of the CEL codes or the symptom, check whether 7.5A fuse 15 in the dash fuse box is blown. If so, read the two attached Honda Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs).
- CEL code 20, P1298, or P1297 (electrical load detector/ELD)
- CEL code 41 or P0135 (primary heated oxygen sensor/O2 sensor heater)
- CEL code 65 or P0141 (secondary heated oxygen sensor/O2 sensor heater)
- CEL code 17, P0500, or P0501 (vehicle speed sensor/VSS)
- CEL code 90, P1456, or P1457 (EVAP emissions)
