1996 Civic Hatchback unplugged connector next to left tail light

Hey guys,
I was doing some work on my car and I found this unplugged connector next to left tail light harness and I couldn't find anywhere what's the function of it. Do you guys know what is this connector used for and where should it be connected?

Trace is back, where does it come from?

It's coming from the tail light harness, there are 6 wires going to this connector, today I also measured outputs on it and found out that it's getting voltage same as tail lights, so from both turn signals, brake light, parking light and fog light, but both my tail lights are connected, so I really don't understand why is this connector there
