I drove the car this morning around the block bc the day before it sounded like it was misfiring bad but today it ran kinda normal except in second gear it started stuttering again but only one time I parked it and later in the day I went to start it and it started but it started popping then it died out when I went to start it again it backfired and wouldn’t start again I have UEL headers that aren’t welded Ik the air fuel isn’t good but Iv been running it like this for a while now no issues I’m wondering if anyone knows why it might be overheating and not starting now

If you are getting a lot of backfiring this is due to unburned fuel in the exhaust which can be exacerbated by a leaking exhaust. Unburnt fuel in a hot exhaust with a fresh air leak is a primetime backfiring combination.

I would start by pulling your spark plugs and inspecting them to see if any are showing very rich conditions in the cylinder. If the air fuel mixture is too rich it can cause misfiring as well. Too rich can be caused by a number of things, but lets start with pulling the plugs.

Pull those plugs and post some photos.
