Okay so I have a 1997 Honda civic ex (obd2a) with a messed up stock d16y8, I want to swap a 2001 Acura integra gs (obd2b) b18b1 engine in it from my crashed integra, integra engine harness wont plug into civic dashboard harness on driver side engine bay. what do I need to do harness wise to make it work? I heard I need to buy a obd2a 96-99 integra harness, distributer and ecu? Or what's a better rout? Without going obd1

integra engine harness wont plug into civic dashboard harness on driver side engine bay.
NO kidding...
You can not use the Integra harness in the 96-98 civic.
Use the 96-98 harness. You will need to change a few things on the harness to get it to work with the motor.
This info is readily out there as this 20 yr old swap has been done thousands of times.
