1998 Honda Civic EX engine shuts off while driving

On my 98 Honda Civic EX the engine just shuts off while driving with no noises or warning. This will happen anywhere after 5 minutes to half an hour of driving. The accessories and lights still work but the car will suddenly be coasting with 0 rpm. After about 5 to 10 min I can finally start the car again. Does anybody have any idea what might be wrong?

Could be ignition coil or ignition switch.

I had the same problem these are the two thing that'll help tremendously (worked for me at least) tweak your throttle cable to idle slightly higher than usual (no more than aprox. 300rpm) and check your idle air control valve. If its bad it could be the reason that you're randomly dying.
