Okay so ive exhausted all options here reaching out for help,
long story short I got burned on a deal engine has rod knock.
pulling engine, notice wiring harness is hack and also a bunch of
plugs were stuck and got broke in the process. so the driver side
had a after market alarm system all kinds of lights and s**t, I got
everything out to the factory harness. again its a 5 speed 2000 ex
and I don't have a lot to spend on it so I'm thinkin of going with a
d15 vtec until I can do a k20 swap, so now to the point lol since
my wiring is fuccced bad and I have no idea where it goes should I
upload pics and try to rewire? with help or should I go drop a few 100
on a engine harness and dash harness as well as a ecu to just have
everything factory and swap to obd1.? engine harness and everything
but the block and tranny is removed.

If you broke a bunch of connectors, it may be best to buy replacement wire harnesses.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_D_engine#D15B

Is the D15B VTEC OBD2 or OBD1? 3 stage VTEC?
its a obd2a and yes that's what I'm trying to do but its a blue plug on the driver side and coming from the firewall
out of the harness with a grey plug. the blue plug is a large 8 pin plug and connects to the headlight area harness
the actual engine harness is all good except one green and yellow wire that ran to head I have to identify,
as far as under the dash I believe I finally got all the lights alarm and everything not "oem" out but
I was curious if anyone had a pic of the under dash and how it should look.

Your car was originally OBD2b. Did you replace any of the stock harnesses?

It’s unclear to me what the exact problem is.

Can you give more details?
damn it sorry meant OB2B
in short I bought some one elses mess and I'm in the process of cleaning it up
I have a blue and grey connector coming from the firewall I guess connected to
the dash harness and the blue connector is broken not the one on the engine harness
cant Identify to replace the plug its a big blue 8 pin connector.

problem # 2
I have a green and yellow wire that broke off from the head I believe when I was removing the y8 \
don't know what it is either. broke from something in the head or block on the air cleaner side just
one green and yellow wire.
this is located on the actual engine harness

problem #3
I have a wiring issue under the dash after pulling all the aftermarket s**t off I'm left with only stock plugs and
no grounds I wanna make sure to hook everything in the correct oem way.
I cant find many good diagrams or good dash pics online. would like to get a stock under dash pic,

trying to be in depth as I can ill take some pics today

basically I took on someone elses mess
pulling y8 putting in a jap d15 vtec from hmo
before that rebuilding suspension completely
and redoing interior.

thanks for the help

Which specific D15B VTEC? There’s more than one type. What ECU are you running?
ill take pics tomorrow when its bright and can be seen better its in a garage area and dark
as the manual I ordered a electronics oem repair manual. its on the way.
