What does that mean, "non-grinding Si trans"? I've never had a problem with my trans.

Exactly what it means.
As time goes on and as old as they are, it's pretty typical for these old 4th gen D transmissions to acquire a grind.

Plans for it?
Keeping it stock for the most part, some resto-mods, but nothing over the top.

damn that thing is clean
Thanks, far from perfect though.
The old d16a6 is due for a rebuild. Burns oil and has 235k on the clock.

Yep, mines got 205k on it and eats oil like a fat chick eats cake, but it still pulls hard. Trans is nice and quiet though. The LS rims look really nice on the CRX, but a drivers seat without a naked patch on the bolster, THAT'S really special =)

Uh huh!
Stop at the gas station, top off the oil, check the fuel...
It does pull pretty well, enough for me, for stock a6 with just a header, exhaust and removed intake resonator.

Have since gotten rid of one set of LS wheels.
Now, between the two Crx's and my daily Hx, we've got 4 sets of OEM wheels; a set of Hx, EM1 SI, Flat black 94-95 GSR's and the LS wheels.

LOVE IT! I like that interior a lot. just plain clean. I really like the center console set up. Fabric matched. What all does it take to put that console in there? Ive never seen it done (but ive been outa the game for a while). Does it sit flush and look clean where it meets the crx console?

Yeah the Si trans makes all the difference. I've got a DX 92 and its such a dog compared to the 91. I'm sure the D15 intake and exhaust manis don't help, but I can ride 2nd gear all the way up to 40 in the DX, where the 91 is screaming at that point. I need to get some rims. I've got brand new 15" rubber waiting for rims lol

I'm on my way outta "the game".
More than likely will be parting out, keeping some parts and selling off as a shell.

Here is a how to for the armrest.

I never drove it or even registered to put in on the road this year, been off the road since 8/2010.
The Fall 2011/final/ "parting" shots, as it's looking more and more likely to be it's last hurrah before possibly next springs parting out; keeping some parts and selling as rolling shell.

Motor issues, little time and not real practical.
225k on the motor, it smokes and needs a rebuild, my wife and I had a baby and I've become generally disgusted with the Honda scene and the type of ppl it attracts.
Figured after nearly 20 years, the teeny bopper JDM fanboi wouldn't be interested in these, I was wrong.

We still have a solid '90 Dx that a lot of the parts from this car would go on.
It's a solid starting point, but sits idly as we just don't have the time to start on it.
