Hey guys my 94 civic is being a pain. I just put in a new starter. Car clicks in the dash and clicks at the starter. (Single clicks) but won't turn over. It started out doing it every once in a blue moon and now I'll sit there for 15 min before it will finally crank, that's if it does.

Is the engine seized? Can you push start the car?

Have your cleaned and tightened the G3 transmission ground connections and the large starter cable connection at the starter and hood fuse box?

Yes all grounds are cleaned. Engine runs great it will push start. Also will start with a jump. I'm going to go bypass my clutch safety switch and see if that does anything

Why do you think the engine starts with a jump? Focus there.

Are your battery posts and connectors clean and tight?

If you remove the car battery and install the jump battery, does the engine now start?

Do you know where the G1 battery and G3 transmission ground connections are located in the engine bay?

Yes I cleaned all 5 grounds yesterday.
I will try and get it started and take it up to get the battery tested again it's only a couple months old.
