I have a 95 Civic 1.6 vtec. I just did a engine swap not ending so good. When i start the car it jumps to 3000-4000 rpm then cuts out. I have Replaced the fuel filter and pump with in the last year and everything was fine. if i play with the distributor it either wont start or will lower the rpms but still kills out. No cel, but little smoke coming from the engine if it is tried a few times. I really need some help with this one considering its my only means of transportation. I have heard a few theories but would like to troubleshoot before buying any major parts.
