man, you should've just painted the housings flat black on your stock headlights. you could've saved about $100.

good thing, cops haven't given you a hard time with you not having the amber reflectors. those replica CTR headlights are not street legal here in Cali.

yeah. i should have just painted them, eh...too late anyways. i like how they look and it was all without the risk of me effing it up. yeah, i think i get away without have the amber reflector because i still use the amber bulbs

yeah you can tell if they are really jdm lights if it has that city light.

see that tiny extra bulb on the main headlight housing. that's the "city light" or "courtesy light". it's a japanese road courtesy thing.

thats dope. so if you got authentic jdm type r headlights, youd have to do something extra to hook up the city light wouldnt you

IMO though, it's an impractical modification. sure it'll give you the JDM look but it'll cost you about $250-350 for just a set. i remember when they costed about $500-700 on ebay.

i would still get a set but it's the least of my priorities for now.
