A few cars I've detailed

Crap, I forgot I didn't post this one! I meant to, too.

So I got a message a few weeks back on a local forum I'm on asking if I'd like to detail a "purplish" Civic hatch with a bit of fog on the carbon fiber hood. We discussed it a little bit and he ended up swinging down to Oly the next day so I could clean it up!

So around 1PM he came by and I started on his car. I have to admit.. it was pretty dirty when he got here. But most of it was just dried muddy water on his car. A bit of fallout and such. The paint was really in great condition. A couple dings here and there, but nothing too bad at all. It was also my first time using Meguiar's Marine Line to clean a gel-coated carbon fiber piece! I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Yep, that's him. Same business that didn't pay me for that detail and the detail of the black Civic coupe too.

nice, i just used meguiars marine stuff on my carbon fiber a week ago too

I just found out that most carbon fiber products are going to be clearcoated, not gel coated as I thought. Vacuuming in a gelcoat costs more, and many places aren't willing to pay for that. So most carbong fiber hoods are going to be clearcoated. Anyone who has one might want to contact the production company to see what the coating is.

I wish the photos of it were better, but the owner didn't have any shots like that and Jason was also trying to keep me out of the shots. I was still buffing the car off.
