The Honda Prelude automatic is prone to transmission failure and something about the belt tensioner. if it goes before you change it it'll cost more or something like that... the transmission failure is just prone to happening. being that the prelude had 65,000 mysterious miles that we don't know anythign about, we'll just play it safe.

Hondas have great transmissions, a lot of the full drag cars run stock synchros

No.. I'm thinking of Honda. Also BMW from the little I've heard. :what: D-series and B-series both.

We're talking auto trannies though... hondas auto tranny is pretty damn weak.... if the preludes tip-tronic tranny is so bad, i really wonder if the RSX's tranny is going to last.........
