Well, its going to depend on how much power you want to make. I'm not really sure how much fuel the stock lines will flow so i have no idea what kind of power levels or mods call for new fuel rails.
My stock fuel rails will support somewhere in the neighborhood of 450-500 hp before any problems start showing up, along with running into some of the limitations of the returnless style fuel system that the new mustangs come with
I would think that you would need to be making some crazy numbers before the fuel rail would be needed. If it were me, i wouldn't bother with a fuel rail until i needed it, like maybe install one when you install your turbo (if you are planning on making enough power to need the fuel rail.)
Maybe someone else can elaborate on what i said, and maybe give some power levels that the stock rail will no longer supply enough fuel.
