does each light require two different lights?....on for high one for low?.....because one of my low beam lights is hella dim compared to my other light. cant i just replace the lights?

Yeah each assembly requires two bulbs 9006 for low beam and 9005 for high beam. As for your light being dim do you mean the actual bulb is dim, if so try replacing it and see if that fixes it.

well i don't got a 4th gen, but i have HID Kit on my 6th gen... i bought some angel projectors and some Audi A6 Projector lamps, going to get some D2S bulbs and plug them in.. it'll look much better then using the stock H4 housing..

Actually HID looks better with projector headlights, plus you get more light output from projectors than from regular headlights

I had a pair of Nokya Arctic White bulbs before I got the HID kit and they looked nice at night, real white hue to it with a blueish tint, and the light output was good, but was less than stock.
Those bulbs on Ebay are pretty much the same since most of those aftermarket bulbs are made in the same factory in Korea and just tagged with different companies names.

You might want to get some Japanese made bulbs like PIAA, Raybrig, MTEC etc...

PIAA's look really nice... but they just burnt out on my friends after about 7 months. There are these bulbs, i forgot the name, but they are exactly like PIAA's, but they have a 1 year warranty. I will have to ask my friend what kind they are.
