B18c Jdm Gsr?

My buddy is looking into a motor on H-T listed as JDM GSR B18C. I know the B18C is the Type R motor and I looked on here at the specs page and it shows there is also a B18C Integra SiR. Is that what is being referred to as the JDM GSR? Also any input or feedback on the link posted would be appreciated, it's going into a 5th gen hatch.

I think the GSR and type R both have the same B18C on the block, there is no "1" and "5" after the "C" like here in the US. I'm not entirely sure how to tell them apart though.

I didn't think there was a GSR in Japan but I could be wrong. I have to admit I'm not all that up to speed on Integra models.

in japan the GSR version of the b18c is known as the SiR-G

EDM Type-R's are B18C6 a little info not already stated.

Okay so when looking at just the motor how can you tell the difference between the Type R and SiR-G

The ITR will be stamped P73.
