Biggest Wheel Backspacing For 96-98 Civic?

I'm wondering if anyone here has tested what's the largest backspacing that fit safely on a 96-98 Civic? My civic does not have larger size brakes and it has rear drums (LX model). I've done some research and I only found one thread on Honda-Tech but they were talking about Integras. On integras the biggest you could run would be 6.25 at the most extreme (since it would come in contact with the trailing arm in the rear). Most people on that forum said 6 inches is as much as they'd push it. Anyone know if this also applies for EKs? Thanks in advance.
Here's a sneak peak of what I'm thinking for my next set up (just a possibility). I've run 15x8 +0 with 165/50 before and that's what I was comparing it to on this picture.

Here's what I currently found, but for Dc2 (integra 94-01).
Front at 6.25" (16x8 +44)

Front at 6.00" (16x8 +35)

Rear trailing armclearance at 6.25" back space (16x8 +44)

Rear camber arm at 6.25" back space (16x8 +44)

Rear trailing armat 6.00" back space (16x8 +35)

Rear camber arm at 6.00" back space (16x8 +35)

Well I did find 89-91 Civic sedan that runs 15x10 +12, which would give it a 6" backspacing. I'm guessing that there isn't a huge difference between the trailing arm of an EF and one of an EK?
