Blinking red light blinking abnormally fast

Hey guys. I noticed today when I turned off my car, got out and locked it, that the little red light on the top left of the dash was blinking super fast. Like a couple times a second. My first instinct is battery issues but I honestly have no idea. Any help or input is appreciated.

Light actually comes on even when the car door isnt closed or locked. Idk if that makes a difference based on what I said before.

There aren't any lights on the top left of the dash.
