Breather Pipe, D16y7/D16y8

Will the 2 piece breather pipe from a D16Y8 Engine with a d16y8 throttle body( manual trans) work on a d16y7 engine manual trans.
My grandson and son bought the 2000 Honda Civic EX car fairly cheep with a great body. Who bought got it from a guy that was setting it up for a racing car. Mixed and match parts. Ran not so great, vacuum leaks some electrical not hooked up, wiring harness d16y7. I got the wiring harness for a d16y8. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
