Civic Speaker Sizes

Since this question is asked almost every day, I figured it would be a good sticky to have around. I compiled all of the speaker sizes for civics. However, this does not take into account mounting depth. Hondas are known for shallow mounting depth inside the doors, so spacers may need to be used to ensure proper fitting.Also, fitting 5.25 speakers in 6.5 mouting holes will often require smaller adapter brackets.

and dont forget on some of the hatchie and crx model it need a kit to fit the rear speakers if that particular car was a base model and didnt come with rear speakers

how come i hear that sometimes door panels need to be modified to fit 6.5 speakers in the front?
some1 was selling their kappas because of that reason..

i had to get spacers for my 6.5 kappas, the window track was in the way.

I made them, just some plastic piping, a little foam and longer screws

yeah, it's just an issue with mounting depth...You just need something to space it off the door.

the CRX was actually considered the coupe
