Clutch or transmission issues!!!

So... Basically I was riding normally and a strong smell to burned clutch start to appear on my car... Minutes later I heard a small sound and my car start revving up but there was no power... The car was not moving... With the car started and the engine running I can swap gears (except 5th, 6th and reverse) without using the clutch pedal! Does that means that my clutch is gone (I think is that) or my transmission is gone? What do you think guys?! Help me please?!

At a glance, yeah it looks like the clutch gave out.

No... Unfortunately the car was in USA and I import it to Costa Rica... So... I don't think I can get any of that paperwork

I think it would be unlikely that the transmission would fail with so little fanfare. My bet is that the clutch broke, though I think it's unusual for that to happen suddenly like that under regular driving conditions.
