DIY: strip your valve cover and repaint (56K probably not)

i did it the lazy way, i have a sandblaster and my buddy works at a powdercoating place so i sand blasted it and he powdercoated it and it looked perfect...but good write up

did almost the exact same thing only didnt use krylon or bake or leave dry for 12 hours.



when I was polishing I used a bit for my demel and I guess I had too much caffeine because I kept slipping off the letters and going right through the tape on the sides that's why there are the random silver spots :[

it's been running fine for 1 week now with no over heating or smoke :]

what would happen if i dont bake the valve cover? can i heat it with a torch?

hey, so not to thread jack or anything but i thought u might know, i dont want to strip and repaint my valve cover (its a jdm itr one, would like to just clean it if possible) so im wondering what i can do to clean it up? i discovered wd-40 actually cleaned the black grease crap off of the plug wires, so wondering what i can do to clean up the valve cover. thanks.
