Picked up some wheels a while back. They weren't in HORRIBLE condition but they needed a clean up, plus i wanted to change the color anyways. Here's how they pretty much looked when i bout them. (got them cheap too) Curb rash everywhere.

First thing i wanted to do was to get rid of the curb rash and the scratches on the lip. I got rid of the curb rash using a file i bought at ACE. For the scratches in the lip, i opted to polish them out. The wheels came with a machined lip so i had to polish ou all the lines from the machining as well as the scratches.

Next step was to strip the wheels off the existing paint. I used paint stripper i also got from ACE (ACE is like my second home. :D)

For paint i used the Duplicolor engine enamel bout at Advanced auto parts. took me about 6 cans of spray to do all 4 wheels.
in the end i think they came out pretty ok. White with the polished lip looks pretty good to me.

sorry for the dark pic
