Does the clutch pedal need adjusting as clutch wears?

I’ve been having issue shifting into 1st gear lately and was wondering if it could have anything to do with clutch pedal adjustment?

Car has 192k miles and when I first bought it at 90k the clutch would grab mid pedal travel. Now it seems to grab a lot lower.

Pedal free play needs adjusting or something else going on?

With 100k miles on it since when you first bought it, you may need a clutch, there is no pedal adjustment.
