I got a B16A2 with gold lettering on the valve cover, and the throttle position sensor rivetted on instead of bolted on. When I called around about it, I was told that the motor was from China. Can anyone verify this?

Hehe. My code isn't on there too. It's a 93 'ZC' sohc VTEC motor. Much the same as the D16Z6, but nontheless, different since it's JDM!!!!!! WOOO!!!!!!! ZC is mentioned, but it's definitely not mine. Mine is nothing like the D16A1, or the DOHC non-VTEC derivative of the ZC. Weird how Japan would use the code for so many engines......
Just for curiousity's sake, I know of 3 different ZC's. There's the DOHC Non-VTEC, the SOHC Non-VTEC and my SOHC VTEC. Are they all rated at 130 ps from Japan? No one seems to know exactly what the output on my engine is stock. I have 127 at the wheels right now with my mods.

How know the engine code for Honda Civic Esi? Its a 1.6l, 16V engine (125hp). But the model is ESI, not EX, not SI... somebody told me its a special edition...
