start the car and let it get warm (when the needle on the temp gauge is right in the middle) and see what your RPM's are. they should be something like 800ish and anything over 1000 means you might have a vacuum leak.

at what rpm do you idle at?

well my car battery died cause i accidentally left my headlights on so i gotta get my car jumped than ill let you know but i think around 1500

if your idleing 1500 warm you have a vacume leak and as for the sound i assume you mean like the clicking noise do or get a valve adjustment and that will most likely take care of that
