Engine swaps opinions

Ok so recently my engine started making a Metallicy clicking noise, I drained my oil and I had a ton of metal flakes in it. I'm taking that means it time to look for a new engine. I was hoping to get some of you guys' opinions on what the best swap would be or what you guys have done. I'm looking for a decent amount of pour (currently have a B20b in it) I also don't want to spend more than $1000 dollars for a new engine. If anyone has any constructive advice please don't hesitate to comment thanks!

You're not getting a ton of power or even a decent upgrade for $1k.
You've already got a b20b in there, for your price range, you're looking at swapping in another b20 or look for a b18b from a 94-01 Integra.
It will be a straight swap out and bolt in.
