First Car - Good Deal?

I was browsing offerup because I’m in the market for a 240sx, but I came across a 1998 Honda Civic EX that looks clean as hell, at least from the photos.

I would like my first car to be relatively easy to gain experience working on, have parts that are cheap, and is manual so I can broaden my knowledge of cars.

Is this car a good candidate/worth anything?

For a sedan with over 150k on it, I think $3k is overpriced.

I agree with Mr.Baker. It would be wise to get it at a cheaper price and use the extra cash for the replacement of the parts.

It's a great candidate to gain experience on as it is easy to work on with parts that are relatively cheap, but you gotta get that asking price down.
So, did you end up picking this up or not?
