fluctuating speedo gauge

Hi been a while since i been on the site guess thats a good thing but I'm or civic is having issues the speedometers needle fluctuates from time to time n e help would be appreciated-thanx

Check your speed sensor / plug / wires

Thanx a lot I appreciate ur help-actually I tested the issue yesterday evening n I do need a vSS the connectors good wires etc so I gotta get the speed sensor itself when I get the money thanx again.

Could also be the cluster itself. It's not ALWAYS the VSS.

Thanx but I tested it out by disconnecting the VSS to narrow it down n sure enough thanx for the feedback appreciate it:-)
