Hey, blackhope.. I know you were being sarcastic
but, From Snap-On's website:
Top Chest, Double Bank, 8 Drawers, Black
Stock#: KRA5208DPC
$2,050.00
Roll Cab, Double Bank, 13 Drawers, Black
Stock#: KRA5213DPC
$2,965.00
That's $5015.00 of toolbox...
With SnapOn, you're paying for more than a name.. You're paying for quality, service, value retension, etc.. Is it expensive - Yes.. Is it worth it? If you turn wrenches for a living, YES..
My friend is a mechanic and has been for about 16 yrs.. He just bought a new SnapOn tool box that the bottom box was 26 drawers, 108 in. long, weighs 1500 lbs. and was almost 14,000$, and the top box was a 15 drawer for 5400$, and an end cabinet for $2100.. That's like $22k.. for his boxes.. But I gaurantee ya he's got 5x that in tools... It's sickening.. Actually, I'm a little on the jealous side.. But in the big picture, d00d turns like 125-130k/yr..
