Green? Midori for sure, what is the cars oem color? If black, cool. Any other color I would paint your door jams aswell, its such a big turn off when someone opens the door of their freshly painted car and the jams are a different color.

This is an opinion based question which makes it invalid. Imo, green is one of the ugliest colors for cars unless its factory.

Get white or black, nice and simple.
