I saw this car on another board. He has it where he pushes a button and then the exhaust opens a valve or something and it goes straight out the header.

That civic ran 10.5 @ 135 I believe! Shows all the haters that 4 bangers are fast

There is no way he would be able to get that turbo to spool with the stock muffler and piping. There would just be too much back pressure in the exhaust.

unless like civic man said, he is using a gadget which uncaps headers....like i said ive seen them, they do exist, you push a button and a valve opens and you dont run out the muffler, but instead straight pipe

Yes, i know. They are called cut-outs. I actually mentioned them earlier. Project zero just made it sound like he was using stock exhaust without any cutous, so i just stated that there is no way that the car would be able to spool the turbo with the stock exhaust.

ive seen other pics of that car, and the stock exhaust isnt hooked up. there is no piping after the downpipe, it just dumps into the atmosphere. ill try to find the pics of it, but it was awhile ago.
