So brought the car to a friends to a bit of work,
Excuse the 17" wheels. Was waiting for tyres to come for the Rays

Here is the tuck completed
Delighted with results

Test fitted my Ef9 Black Dash And SiR Cluster

Quick Shot Of Interior With Rusty Cage :P

Another Interior Shot With Centre Console & Door Cards

Cage Painted.. I dont wait around :P

Custom Fit 98 Spec ITR Boot Brace

So Started Welding Up all unused holes in the bay

All Done

Split and painted my front suspension Parts and cleaned & greased my discs as i was sick of them
rusting while it was sitting up

My tyres Arrived so it would be rude not to fit them right away

My Blox Extended Studs Arrived this morning

So wasted no time..

Centre Bar of cage painted & Fitted

Engine Bay Smoothed & Masked

A few shots with the wheels, studs, camber arms fitted (excuse crappy phone shots)

Temporary suspension

Blox Extended Studs & Blox Extended Nuts

SPOOOOOOOON!!

Shocks In .. Braided Lines In

Rear Extended Studs in

Rear Camber Arms In

Tried fitting the 98 spec shifter onto my ef9 linkages but the base of the shifter was too wide
So i cut the end off each shifter (98 spec & ef9) and welded the ef9 end to the 98 spec shiter.
Result..

Painted Intake Manifold

Polished Injectors (before/after)

All Done

Back in the manifold

Fuel Rail Back on

Gearbox Painted

My Ek9 Crank Pulley Came In

My Repair on my megan 4-1 (i know,i know .. Megan buts its temporary)

FInally Got around to painting the bay
Pics Speak For themselves

Bonnets a bit damp/dusty in this pic

Finally got my machined rods back
So fitted pistons and rings and then it was time..

Head Torqued down

And a quick paint of the VC

Few more pieces of the puzzle arrived today (sump gasket, crank seals and throttle body gasket)

and finally the engine as it stands to date
