i just did this. looks good. only problem i had was tryin to find the stupid hex security key. i dont think i had ta take it off but i did anyway. il post pics soon

the lenses are dirty but you get the idea...

2 coats rustoleum automobile primer (20 mins inbetween)
3 coats rustoluem painters touch semi gloss (20 min inbetween)
2 coats of rustoluem lacquer(5 mins inbetween)
then waited 30 mins and threw em in oven and put em back together

paint in total was 12.67 at home depot

took about 3-4 hrs in total

Good how to, even though it was 4 years ago, I did mine yesterday. While I had the lights disassembled I had to wet sand some of the yellow haze off the covers too. All I had @ the house was 2000 grit sandpaper, but it did the job ok. I am happy with the results, but I want to find another color lens for the parking lights.

Opened up the headlight housing on Sunday night...Exciting. Will finish this weekend along with city lights....
What'd you guys use to sand?Just scotch brite pad or what?

You might want to lower the temp because I melted one of my lights. =/
