How To: Replace a light switch

this is my broken light switch, it stopped working then decided to twist off.

first start off by removing the paneling around the switches, the clips usually end up breaking. I ended up breaking one of the clips. Pull off the panels and then turn your steering wheel so it looks like this

next unscrew the small gold screws

then use a flat tip screw driver to help remove the plugs in the back

the switch slides out left but it snaps into place so when removing it be careful to not accidently break the switch when it flings out.

mine was melted oddly also

the new one slides right back in and snaps into place

snaps the plug back in put the screws back in and put ur paneling on

and it looks brand new like this

Even tho I used this for the wiper switch it still helped me out great write up!!!!!!!!
