how to permanently tint your lenses

So sometimes we want to tint our lenses to match the car, or want to be 'stealth' ... whatever the reason is, it follows the same principle as painting your taillights red.

The paint I used

Prepping em and getting them ready

Cleaning the housing

Check that out, nice and clean

Taped off the parts I dont want to paint

Finsihed product

Shitty pic of them on the housing

I then started on my left corner lense (dont want to do them both at the same time cause it might attract cops to have em both off)
All prepped and ready to go

After the first coat

Shitty pic of the front of the car

Left side with newly painted corner in

Close up of the corner lense

Bumper lens with signal lit up

Note: These were both stolen after about a month. I went to school one day and walla ... they also tried to steal my fogs, but couldnt get em off right. They did manage to f**k up a seal in the process howeveer.

great write-up. im gonna use it.

question: how much light is blocked by two even coats? if i painted my actual headlight, would it be bright enough still?
